About Us

Concular is a circular economy start-up. We digitize materials in buildings to calculate the embodied carbon footprint and help to reduce it by recirculating materials to other buildings, manufacturers or industry partners. By that we are tackling a lot of problems in the construction sector such as emissions, waste, resource exploitation and more. We're working with most of the largest building owners, manufacturers and construction companies in Germany and will expand to other countries mid of next year.

Tasks

• Design and implement Python code using the Django framework
• Identify and fix bottlenecks that may arise from inefficient code
• Identify and fix software bugs
• Create a wide variety of tests to verify the functionality of software.
• Write detailed documentation

Requirements

• You have a problem solving mindset.
• You have knowledge of Python and the Django framework
• You are familiar with event driven programming as well as the MVC
• You have a good understanding of SQL databases
• You have a good understanding of REST APIs
• You are available for at least 15-20 hours per week (working student: in) or full time (internship).
• You are enthusiastic about our mission of transforming the construction industry to a fully circular economy
• You courageously take on new challenges and creatively solve problems as they arise
• You are fluent in English
• You work independently, persistently and reliably
• You value teamplay, sustainability and transparency
